Kevin Frye Recognized as one of Mississippi’s Top 50 Under 40

Kevin Frye was recognized as one of Mississippi’s Top 50 Under 40 by the Mississippi Business Journal during the 27th Annual Awards Luncheon on April 25, 2019. The Top 50 Under 40 award recognizes Mississippi’s up-and-coming best and brightest business leaders throughout the state, and the 2019 class included a record number of well-qualified nominees. Frye is the Founder and Managing Partner of Frye Reeves, PLLC, a full-service law firm located in Oxford that represents individuals and businesses with their day-to-day legal needs.

“Our firm takes pride in helping people and businesses in need. Whether we are helping grow a business, writing a will, or assisting a family or individual through a difficult time, my Partner Brooke Reeves and I treat every client with dignity and respect. I’m pleased with the growth of our law practice and look forward to continuing to serve the legal needs of our community,” said Frye.

In addition to his law practice Frye is known for his active engagement in community service, currently serving in elected office as Lafayette County District 1 Supervisor as well as positions as a member of the University of Mississippi’s Institutional Review Board, the Oxford-Lafayette County Economic Development Foundation’s Board of Directors and the Oxford-Lafayette County Housing Commission Executive Committee. He is a graduate of Leadership Lafayette, and has previously served as a member of the Theatre Oxford Board of Directors, the City of Oxford Historic Preservation Commission and as a member of the Vestry at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.

“Over the years I’ve enjoyed giving my time and energy back to the community that has been so supportive of my family and me. Working together with other members of the community to enhance our quality of life has taught me many things, but most important is that better decisions are made when we take time to engage with, listen to and learn from others – we all benefit from fresh perspectives and innovative ideas.”
